ONCE I HAVE REGISTERED, HOW DO I SCHEDULE LESSONS?

• Fall/Spring Session Procedure:

To schedule your lessons during the fall and spring sessions, click on the "calendar" link from the menu to view the studio calendar.  Anything that is labeled “Open” is available (although any previous customers from the summer session who have expressed that they wished to keep their time slot will be prioritized). On sign-up day TVAI will be filling those slots within the first 15 minutes.  When sign up opens on registration day please send an e-mail to info@thevocalartsinstitute.com stating the time that you would like.  TVAI will send a reply e-mail either confirming that you have booked the time slot successfully or letting you know that the time slot is no longer available and that you will need to choose another time slot.  To be fair, TVAI will answer the e-mails on a first-come first-serve basis.

• Summer Session Procedure:

Once the summer schedule is posted, you will be able to choose your 9 individual private lesson time slots (your usual 3 per month).  You may pick and choose to put them anywhere within the posted time slots June-August.  You can choose to do double lessons, multiple lessons in one week, or all in one month.  It is completely up to you.  By signing up for summer session, you can guarantee your spot moving forward into the fall semester. The usual semester rules of student absences apply once you have chosen your spots.  You may still switch with other students if conflicts arise.  You will make your payments each month as it applies to the normal school year.  Students will also still have 3 Studio Classes during summer session.  In order to register for summer, you must respond to an e-mail that you receive from TVAI by the deadline in which you are told by Ms. Jen.  The students who respond will be put on the registration e-mail list, and registration will open up to those students on the response list the day of registration selections.

TUITION AND FEES GUIDELINE

Tuition must be paid in full at the beginning of the semester, OR at a monthly rate until paid in full (rates vary depending on which class option you choose; see “Lessons and Rates” section above).  There are additional fees for recitals and accompanists.  Payments may be made at the Studio by cash or check, made payable to Jennifer Randall.  If you choose to discontinue lessons before the end of the semester, you are expected to pay the remainder in full.

Tuition is due on the 5th day of each month, OR at the student’s first voice lesson of the month if it is before the 5th.  If payment is not received by the 5th day of the month, TVAI will assess a $25.00 late fee.  If payment has not been received by the end of the month in which it is due, your time slot may be revoked.  In all cases of late payment, The Vocal Arts Institute should be contacted by the undersigned in order to set up payment.  Tuition is non-refundable and is due in full, whether the student attends the lessons and Studio Classes or not.
